Reasoner photograph collection consists of photos that Colonel (Doctor) Reasoner accumulated during his 34-year career as an Army surgeon. The photos reflect very little of his career, and cover a wide range of subjects very superficially. There is one photo of him in civilian clothes, probably in the 1930s. The photos show North Island, California in 1919; the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937; a mess hall interior; scenes in Arizona and several American Indians in the 1930s; five postcards of soldiers on the Mexican border circa 1916; scene in Monterey, Mexico, and eight views of a cold outpost in Alaska circa 1925. The heaviest coverage is in the Philippines between 1926 and 1935. These photos show locations, including several excellent aerial views, such as: Baguio, Bontoc, Manila, Camp John Hay, Camp Keithley, Fort William McKinley and Pettit Barracks. Other Philippine Islands (P.I.) photos include U.S.A.T. (United States Transport Ship) Grant; airplanes and fields; scenery and farmed terraces; flooded areas in Luzon in 1935; and some native tribal shots.
